5.10 Freeriders are the ultimate shoe for today’s downhill mountain bike racers and flat pedal riders. Details like reinforced stitching, protective toe boxs, and action leather uppers make these shoes the choice of fans of the original impact, who also want to be able to go the pub afterwards. When you don’t want the restriction of clipless pedals, the new Freerider’s keep your feet in place. Designed for riding everything from park to the valley trail, the Freeriders are stylish, comfortable, and so sticky, it would put even sticky vicky to shame.
S1 rubber is used, just like the impact, but the Freerider gives an obviously more 'skate shoe' style feel. Instead of sitting on the pedal like the stiffer impact, the freerider sit's into the pedal more, giving a more 'natural' feel to the pedal.
Now there is two versions. The red one's (pictured) are the most practical for biking duties.... The black and white version, 'scribble', has the phantom sole, which means non marking, perfect for work and play in the gym e.t.c
